School holidays should be a time of fun but often it is a huge struggle for working parents. Not only do they have to keep getting into work on time, they have to juggle the care of their children for a week, two weeks or even worse the long six week summer holiday.

What To Do With The Kids In the School Holiday in 2019?

With most parents only getting between 21-25 days of holiday a year means that it is a constant juggle. They are either using their  annual leave, taking it in turns, if you’re a couple.

What this means for parents in the school holiday, is that there just isn’t enough annual leave days in the year to cover the full school holidays in the UK.

Can Your Family Help Out with the kids in the school holidays?

Many working parents are lucky enough to have the help of family; grandparents, aunts and uncles can come in really handy during the school holidays.

That is if they live close enough, which is not always the case. As more and more young people move away to take up jobs and start families in different parts of the country, this source is becoming less available to the average working family.

Perhaps your friends can lend a hand with school holiday childcare?

Friends can also fill in the stop gap in the holiday periods.

The only problem with this is that you are forever paying back favours, so your time off is often filled caring for lots of other children as well, instead of spending quality time with your own.

That’s where we at Funtivity Day Camps come in.

We are a new and exciting school holiday club offering multi-activities for children aged 5-12 in Liverpool and the surrounding areas starting in May half term 2019 and also the summer school holiday 2019.

We know what a struggle it was for our mum, she was on her own with two of us and every school holiday was a juggling act, trying to find a place where we were happy to go and which provided us with enough fun and activities over the school holiday.

Over the years, we have attended so many school holiday clubs!!

Some were great!! cool

Some not so great frown

and some we begged our mum to never ever send us back there again!! cry

It was from our own personal experiences as children, when we attended school holiday clubs, that led us to this current venture. We combined our personal childhood experiences with our various employment experiences from working at school holiday camps and nursery settings that we were spurred on to start our very own school holiday camps.

That is how Funtivity Day Camps came to be.

We wanted to combine FUN + ACTIVITY and we came up with FUNTIVITY!!

We saw the gap in school holiday care.

Everyone was offering mainly sports based holiday camps only, but what happens if your child is not sporty?…

What do you do for the Easter break?

Or worse still the long summer school holiday?

Don’t worry, because here at Funtivity, we got you and your child covered.

Our school holiday camps are multi-activity – with over 60 activities on offer – we cater for the sportiest kids and also the craftiest kids.

We are certain that even the fussiest child will be begging to come back.

But that’s not all…

With our flexible booking system – book a day, two days or come for a full week.

Book early mornings and later evenings to fit around your busy schedule

And all our staff receive our own specialised Funtivity training.

Our Funtivity idea is based on providing high quality, multi-activity, fun filled school holiday care.

We want to provide school holiday activities that will win round even the most hard to please 5-12+ years old.

Cos lets face it, we know what it is like during the school holidays, we still had to get out of bed at the same time as a school day, when really all we wanted to do was to chill at home.

That’s why we also have chill out time each day, because everyone needs time to unwind after all the fun and activity they will be having.

Our Funtivity Day Camps run in and around Liverpool, in carefully selected schools with top class facilities.

Each is selected with its proximity in mind and ease of access to major routes into Liverpool.

We aim to source venues with swimming pools because we know how much fun it was when we were able to swim at the school holiday camps we attended as children. We make sure that each camp has a fully trained and qualified lifeguard, and sessions are small and fully supervised with staff in the water with children.

And all staff are all DBS checked and fully trained to provide your children with fun filled days.

At Funtivity, you will not need to feel guilty because your kids will soon be having so much fun.

We know that parents have to work, so we’ll take care of the school holiday childcare.

So Book Your child’s place today, put your feet up and we’ll take care of the rest.

We offer a 10% discount for every first time booking.
